Responsibilities consisted of teaching six computer information systems courses per year.  Administrative duties included recruitment and management of approximately 35 adjunct faculty members, and scheduling about 30 class sections each semester.  Responsibilities also included budgeting, curriculum development, student advising, program promotion, coordination with seminar programs and service on several committees.

 

Prior to 1976

Adjunct faculty member at numerous universities, including University of Washington, University of Puget Sound, San Jose State University. Taught business courses, primarily in marketing and computer systems.

Design, marketing, management and production of a new information service provided to users and suppliers of computer oriented services.  The Company Analysis and Monitoring Program for the Computer Services Industry were profitable in its first year of operation.  It comprised a directory of computer services companies, indices of geographic applications and industry markets served by these companies, and detailed company profiles.
