The Smith Center for Private Enterprise Studies at CSUEB,
together Pacific
Research Institute cosponsored the Center's 6th Annual Speaker of National
Prominence with Ward Connerly, Founder
of the American Civil Rights Insitute. His Smith Center speech, "Ending
Racial and Gender Preferences: The Road from California" was delivered
on June 5, 1997 at the San Ramon Marriott Hotel.
