We are fortunate to live and work in one of the most
dynamic economic environments that has ever existed: the San Francisco
Bay/Silicon Valley area. In devising an Executive MBA program for
Singapore, we have decided to draw on our natural strengths and put
forth a curriculum that offers well-motivated students a chance to learn
not only basic business skills, but also the practices of the world's
leading high-technology companies.
In the past decade our College has grown into a recognized leader in international executive development programs. During this period we have developed and initiated programs for Russian, Chinese, Thai, Brazilian, and European executives both in California and in foreign locations. Our instructors have proven that they are able to communicate the key concepts to a variety of audiences, so we are very optimistic that Singaporeans will be able to benefit from our approach in the same way as students from other countries. We have been able to attract an ever-increasing number of talented faculty members as our name has spread. To further enhance the quality of the Singapore program, we have decided to offer it in a partnership with San Jose State University (SJSU). There is almost no school in existence with as much hands-on experience with Silicon Valley as SJSU. |
SJSU has brought MBA education directly to the Valley's managers by establishing a separate Silicon Valley campus. The instructors and administration at its College of Business have thus become intimately aware of the way in which business is being done in the high-tech sector. We are also pleased to join forces with the Hartford Institute for this endeavor. Hartford Institute's professionalism and efficiency ensure that the day-to-day administration of the program is customer-oriented. This program has been designed to accommodate the busy executive's schedule, to satisfy the appetite for lifelong learning, and to offer a rewarding opportunity to grow professionally. In classes with other managers, you will have a chance to participate in a discussion about the ways in which the world of business has been changing and how you can apply the lessons learned to your current position. We hope that you will enjoy the program as much as we enjoy presenting it. |
