Dr. Sam Basu
Professor, Management and Finance Department, Ph.D. from the University of Houston in Finance and Quantitative Management Sciences; C.M.A. in Management Accounting.
Prior to joining CSUEB as a professor, he was a Vice President and Manager of Strategic Planning for Wells Fargo Bank and Senior Vice President of Merabank of Arizona. Professor Basu has also been a consultant for Booz, Allen and Hamilton. His previous academic experience includes full-time teaching at the University of California, Berkeley. He has numerous publications in the areas of finance, planning and managerial accounting, including the book, Strategic Credit Management of Commercial Banks. Professor Basu has been involved with the study and practice of entrepreneurship. He designed and established a course in New Venture Financing at CSUEB. |
