Welcome to OMS

Our goal is to bridge the gap between the "academic world" and the "real world" of Operations, Materials and Supply Chain Management.

Welcome to the Operations and Materials Society. We are a student organization of the California State University, East Bay.
Each quarter (except the summer quarter) we conduct industry tours where students have the possibility to gain a deeper insight of manufacturing and service rendering companies.
Additionally, we also have a dinner, where a guest speaker talks about current industry related topics.

The Operations and Materials Society is open to graduate and undergraduate students of any study area. However, especially students who study E-Commerce, Supply Chain Management, and Operations Management might be especially interested in our activities.

You can easily join our organization; click here for further information. You just need to pay a one-time fee of $20 in order to get our lifetime membership. There are no further membership costs or recurring costs. You are also not obligated to take part in all activities. Just sign up for those activities that you are interested in. Some professors even provide extra credits if students participate.
