The BA in Economics, Option in Statistical Economics is designed for students
who want to pursue a course of study emphasizing applied quantitative analysis
of business and Economics. By emphasizing the applied statistical and
data-driven aspects of Economics, this option provides students with skills for
employment in jobs that require statistical or data analysis. The emphasis on
math and statistics makes this Option excellent preparation for graduate study
in Economics. The Option also provides excellent employment prospects as
analysts of risk, quality, and data in business, government, and nonprofit
agencies.
