Undergraduate Program OptionsOne of the greatest advantages of an Economics degree at CSUEB is the unprecedented choice that it affords all students. Our Department offers students flexible options to better tailor their study of Economics to their interests and career goals. We offer four Options leading to a BA degree in Economics. Each student is required to pick one of the options. While all options offer rigorous study in Economics as well as excellent employment prospects, each differs in emphasis, class requirements, and unit requirements. Students should check Professor Leo Kahane, our undergraduate advisor, to determine the option best suited to their needs. Please note that students entering under a Fall 2006 catalog or later must take an Exit Exam as part of their program. Students entering under a Fall 2007 catalog or later must take Econ 4896 as a Capstone Experience.
